THE FORMAT
WHY 9s?
MORE SPACE
More room to attack. The 9s format opens up the field, creating space for players to express themselves and back their skills.
MORE INVOLVEMENT
Every player matters. With fewer players on the field, everyone is in the game — no hiding, no standing around.
MORE ACTION
Fast games and quick transitions. High-tempo play keeps the energy up from the first whistle to the last.
MORE FUN
A different rugby league experience. Summer Nines is competitive, social and a great day out for players, coaches and supporters.
